Program Manager, Prevention First Program
  • $132,814 per annum + Superannuation
  • Full time, Fixed term until June 2022
  • Geelong

About the role

The Program Manager is responsible for providing leadership and technical expertise to implement a structured approach to program management and ensure the effective delivery of project outputs.

The Program Manager reports to the Innovation Lead in the day to day delivery of the program and projects. The Program Manager will utilise their experience in public/health organisations to create, manage and deliver prevention projects aligned to the WorkSafe strategy.

 The role will also be responsible for engaging and 

  • Actively support Innovation Lead in the devising and implementation of the Program Delivery Strategy by ensuring deliverables are aligned across the projects and programs in the program
  • You will lead, oversee and manage projects
  • You will be providing leadership, guidance and support to project officers to support the successful delivery of projects, and contribute to fostering a positive and collaborative team culture
  • You will be working with the business to understand and agree future opportunities for Prevention First projects
  • You will be leading and managing the program planning and daily business operations, working with appropriate business units

About you

  • Substantial career evidence of project management including proven management of multiple projects concurrently within large and complex organisations.
  • Solid technical background with an ability to address accessibility and compatibility issues.
  • Extensive project lifecycle experience understanding the planning and delivery of projects in its entirety.
  • High level of written and oral communication skills with excellent attention to detail in written work.
  • High competency in scheduling & dependency mapping.
  • Experience in innovation or human-centred design will be highly regarded
  • Public sector and/or health-related experience.
